Knit Frustration

Thanks to everyone who commented on my Ripple Afghan! I think 8 comments might be a new record for me- which is kind of sad when you compare it to other bloggers who get hundreds of comments. (But there are other problems that come with a highly-read blog, like people saying mean things to you, which make me very glad that I don't have a highly-read blog.) Anyways, I haven't had anything to blog about now that the ripple is done, cause you really don't want to see a halfway done sock that matches the other one that I've posted that you've already seen in its completed state, right? I didn't want to take a picture of it, either. I'm hoping to finish it off pretty soon- I just started the gusset decreases earlier today.

Super cute and knit in bulky yarn which would (hopefully) make it quick.. But I can't. I have a commissioned project that I need to start and finish first. And then there's always Thermal, just lingering around, making me feel bad that I don't want to work on it.

Wow, you take commissions!

I really want to cast on for the Drops cardigan, too (but I'm using Aran 'cause I'd look as big as a boat in bulky-weight yarn), but I'm trying to do gift and swap knitting first. It looks so darn warm and cozy, though!

Just cast on...casting on is always happy. And then go work on your other projects - use it as a bit of a reward now and then. (I am horrible at finishing things before I begin something else - so maybe don't cast on. Oh, but why not?)

That drops jacket is great, isn't it? Very popular, too; it's in my queue....

Congrats on the comments! I've discovered some great new blogs when new people comment and through ravelry. It's a great way to find blogs you might not otherwise run into.
